I am lucky I had fantastic parent, its just that I never told them, so just to make the point that not all parents are abusive.

Have i forgiven my abusers, no i havent, but I do beleive that at some stage along this journey I will.
I see forgivenness as a decision that the hurt one makes, its a choice. bUt at this point i am unable to forgive them. Yet i feel by not forgiving them its is somehow holding me back, stopping me ...

This is quite tricky because depending on how im feeling at any given time, the point on the scale where i would place myself would vary considerably. But i certainly feel as though im getting there, im going in the right direction, but its not a static thing, it varies so much.

the other four I will have to call strangers, they were friends or associates of the above.

i would say a resounding yes. I have to admit counselling is not how i thought or imagined it would be, but i know it helps me no end, a chance to talk things through and thereby see whats needed, whats hurting, whats wanted.
One of the best things i have done in the last year.
So definitely yes ...

i can be me, myself, no matter how i feel or whats happening, i feel ok about expressing how I feel and i feel not judged or condemned.
I also really like the fact that i feel listened to, by others who perhaps have had similiar experiences.
