After a few years rest and recuperation the HAVOCA Forums have been brought back by popular demand.

Due to the relatively rushed nature of converting the old forum you'll notice serveral things are missing from the new site. Gradually over time I'll add bits and pieces to make it feel more like home.

I'd just like to thank Liz for accepting the position of Moderator for the HAVOCA Survivors' Forum.

Liz and I have had an online relationship for many years...I trust her explicitly and know she will do a great job in keep this place safe and secure.

I'm sure you will join with me in welcoming Liz to the new post.

Over the next couple of days we'll be making the following changes:

Add a more detailed registration page - talking more about the forum and the type of community we have.

Remove the COPPA requirement and instead replace it with an under 18 link that redirects minors to more appropriate support for minors (this site is for adults only)

Add a small modification to the structure of the forum that will allow easy addition and removal of future modifications with limited risk of messing the whole [...]

Well I've been a busy bee tonight....

Firstly I have installed a who's online within the last 24hr period at the bottom of the board (makes sure you know you aren't alone)

Then I added a welcome message that is automatically received when a user first signs up:

Hello, Username!

Welcome to HAVOCA's Survivors Forum. According to your input, your email is: test@test.org.

Please feel free to wander around the forums and post an introduction message when you are ready.
