Please see attached poster for our upcoming “Taking Charge of Your Life” public workshop.

The workshop will be held over five weeks starting Friday 20th January at Langley Children’s Centre in Solihull.

The workshop is FREE OF CHARGE to all Birmingham, Solihull and Sandwell residents and is designed for individuals wanting to increase their confidence and take charge of their lives!

The workshop will focus on:
• How to adjust to change
• Learning how to resolv [...]

On Nights Like This is a graphic novel anthology which will collect and publish illustrated stories by survivors of sexual trauma and domestic violence.

We would appreciate your assistance in spreading the word about our project to survivors who might want to share their stories. If you have a newsletter, mailing list, blog, Twitter, Facebook page or another appropriate forum, posting either a link to our website, or the attached JPG poster would be a great help.

Wow, I can't believe this year has flown past so quickly. HAVOCA has had a storming year - we are nearly at our 2000th member, we had three successful online courses for members to benefit from, sponsorship was up from 2011 and several more sections were added to help the community. I hope 2012 proves just as successful and we can open our doors to more and more survivors.
