Hi

Really good idea about using the picture as a desktop background - although not totally sure I want to be reminded of mum's bed every time I look at it...

Won't tell her that her bed is now featured on a number of desktop screens ..... Mind you she is a technophobe so I don't think she will even understand what it means :P :P :P :P

Hi all,

Have been off line a few days, so I'm a bit late here, but the discussion on whether or not it is wool.... JML, just wear it as a cloak already! Are you doing it? Are you itchy? Question answered. And I so love the image of JML swirling and twirling around in her flat. Whoever wins, there should be a clause that says they must do the cape thingy, for all those of us that would love a rainbow cloak!

When I visit my mum tomorrow - I will be taking the blanket to take close ups of it - Also as her house is far bigger than my flat - I am going to have a go at the cape thingy..... :P :P :P

If there is any chance of teaching my technophobic mum of using my Digital SLR camera - I will get her to take a rear view picture of me with the blanket round my shoulders - - (as I'm 4ft 11" tall and the blanket is 5 ft - there's going to be at least a 1ft of it on the floor!!! - bit like a bridal train!!!)

I will as Jamie how to post the series of close up attachments - not sure how many there will be yet!

Hi folks

Took close ups of the blanket - but dear technophobic mum refused point blank to hold the camera let alone take a picture with it..........

Will upload them shortly. (I've mentioned once before how I am always leaving things at my mothers house when I visit... I left the camera this time)

Going there monday as she has somehow conned me into taking her shopping (I hate shopping) :( :( :(

I was thinking it may be a good idea to extend it further, as some people don't necessarily visit that often and the making didn't last nearly as long as expected (thanks to lightning needles Irene). What do others think?

A very cheeky Oh goody

That means I get to hug the blanket just a little while longer.........

I'm going to really miss the blanket when it goes

Mind you it has travelled a few miles both before it was sewn together and afterwards -
backwards and forwards to work and the church to photograph it :!:

A very guilty

It won't do any harm to extent the length of time before the raffle is drawn--after all there is no dead-line

and the whole idea is to get as much money for Havoca as we can.

jml can hang on to it until the weather gets warmer as she lives in a very cold flat, and god knows she deserves

it after sewing 100 squares together. (those are my thoughts anyway)

Lightning needles (thank you for that---Rose)----have been called much worse in my time.
