I feel that resigning as a Moderator is very much a positive and forward step for me.

A responsibility i have greatly enjoyed for the last 2 1/2 years esp once i found my moderating feet that is! Jamie was incredibly patient with me in the early days as i tentatively found my way around and practised the vaguely techy stuff and trusted my instincts to know how and when to step in. I think this role is about experience too and the much needed support the Moderating team give to each other.

I've grown in confidence and self esteem over this period of time and this feels the right time to be hanging up my Moderator mitts. I leave the team with some sadness for every change i find involves loss too to some extent. But equally i know i have given my all and now it is time to relinquish this role as i move forwards in other aspects of my life.

So...Jamie, Fighting Spirit, Hope, NIgirl, Hunny and Rastalady and Cosmictramp too thank you! For your patience and care and love as together we have sought to keep this place safe and secure for everyone who walks through the HAVOCA doors.

I wish you all the best as you continue this vital role. You're a great team of ppl!

And actually it feels odd to be doing the leaving...so often in my life i have watched others leaving ahead of me. Another step forward i feel.

No...not leaving the site as a whole yet - though i guess this is half way house. My stay here may well be for a good long time yet.

I gain enormously here - the support is 2nd to none. Not yet ready to stand completely out there in the world on my own. My recent posts echo that loud and clear though they also echo the courage and the inner strength i possess - and that has largely come from my time here.

seen it tonight.. I am so sorry that my name is not on the posts thanking you Liz for all that you

have done for us and for Havoca.
