Tricky question for me, but I have answered with the age that I finally realised that what I had lived with was abuse.
Before that I still thought everyone else's life must be just the same & thought it was just me that was weird, not my family.

Train tickets booked today, so I'll be setting off with my rucksack from the back door, walking to the station!

I would like to try it but can't seem to track down any. The Americans seem to do this sort of thing much more.
I don't personally have an issue with a mixed sex group, but obviously that is very personal & depends on circumstances.
