Sponsorship!
Ahoy there fellow HAVOCA members,
We need sponsors! Can you help?
We are not-for-profit so every penny goes into running the organisation!! It doesn't take a huge amount of money to run but it certainly isn't free. Any help you can give will be greatly appreciated and you will of course receive 'sponsor' status on the forum.
Sponsor status provides you with:
Can receive and store 1000 messages (2 messages for a normal member)
Can ignore attachment size and amount limits
Can email other users
Can use smilies in PMs
Can change default usergroup
Can change username
Can ignore flood limit on posting
Can choose to be 'hidden' while browsing
Can view hidden online users
Can post Flash in private messages
Can forward private messages
Have their own special rank and title bar on the forum
https://www.havoca.org/donate/
If you follow the link it gives you all the details.
Thank you!

Re: Sponsorship!
Hey,
"Can view hidden online users"
Just wanted to say that this sounds like an odd perk. I would have thought that the chief aim of hiding one's online status was to maintain a degree of privacy. Offering people the opportunity to pierce this veil of privacy seems counter-productive to the aims of the forum.
Just a thought.

I humbly request you do not close replies to my posts using terms implying intimacy, such as "hugs" or "love". Thank you.

I can see why perhaps you may feel like that. Conversely, it may seem odd to others that people hide or want to voyeur on a survivors forum without others knowing. I guess, privacy goes both ways.
There isn't a right or wrong way to behave on a forum (in this sense) which is why both options are available.
Incidentally, it isn't something we (havoca) have designed. It comes with the forum software as part of the package.

Re: Sponsorship!
Spiralling,
When I look at who’s online and someone is hidden, I only see “hidden” as the username - it doesn’t tell me *WHO* the hidden user is.
Just in case you were worried we could.... we can’t.
You can also see who’s online, look at the bottom of this page and click “who is online”
