We know very little about people’s experiences of talking about
sexual abuse within the family (known as incest)
to non-offending family members.

The survivor’s voice is important
and often goes unheard.


Have you experienced sexual abuse by a family member?
Have you talked about this abuse to a non-offending family member(s)?


If so, would you like to participate in a research study?


I am a qualified counsellor undertaking further study. I am researching for my Masters in Counselling at Staffordshire University and would like to interview people regarding their experiences of talking about their abuse to (a)
non-offending family member(s).


The research will consist of a one-hour taped interview and
all information will be treated with the strictest confidence.
