The research Aims:
1. To explore the adult lives and enable the voices and lived experiences of adult survivors of Childhood Emotional Abuse (CEA) to contribute to understandings of CEA.
Objectives
1. To explore the extent to which the extant research revictimises, via labelling, those who have experienced CEA.
2. To establish how CEA is constructed by those who have experienced it.
3. To critically explore how individuals who have survived experiences of CEA negotiate their lives.

Myself - Stephanie Tucker, full time PhD student. Supervisors: Dr Jane Tobbell & Dr Andrea Gaynor. All based at Huddersfield University.

Committee that can attest to compliance with human subjects’ protection standards.
4) Access to a web page that describes the study, or a copy of an information sheet that will be given to prospective participants.
5) The dates when enrolment will be opening and closing.
From 01/02/2021 until 30/07/2021
6) A description of how your findings will be shared with participants and others.
All participants will have full access to their interview transcripts after they are typed up, and the research will be shared with the supervisors, However the participants will be anonymised. The research findings will be at Academic conferences and in Journal papers.

Rules me out, but hopefully others will have a go! Research is so important to help guide our health systems and target the right place for funding.
