Re: Member of the Year 2022
Thanks AN,
I sent Jamie a message with my nomination, and also a message with my vote.
Is there a listing of who has been nominated so that voters may choose among the nominated candidates?

No, not public. All member are candidates. A nomination is a vote is a nomination.

Smiling...
Nomination is different from voting on the American side of the pond.
Thanks for clearing it up!

Here too, Harry.
Procedures in most organisations require that one be nominated and seconded to become a candidate, after which a vote takes place. However, in this case it's all in one.

Re: Member of the Year 2022
The Sid comments are good, but there is a clear attack on another member here which I was going to report but I can't find the report button.

Quite right John!
Comments about Sid for member of the year are good, no one should be attacked, and I think Actnormal is great!

Ditto Actnormal - way back in 2000 and something (can't remember the year now!) I felt similar.actnormal wrote: ↑Sun Jan 22, 2023 7:54 am The member of the year award has helped me remember that I'm not entirely useless, and I'm proud to have the badge. It tells
me that there are human beings who value me. That isn't something I'm used to. I was over the moon when my name came up.
Just want to say that
