Child abuse survivors targeted in residential care in Scotland can now apply for financial redress payments of up to £100,000.
More than 700 advance payments have already been made to the terminally ill and those aged 68 or over.
The scheme has now officially opened to all applicants. Those eligible or their next-of-kin can apply for a minimum redress payment of £10,000.
It will be delivered by a new organisation named Redress Scotland.

Well done ((((Scotland)))). Doesn't help any of us South of the Border but I'll celebrate any help for any survivor anywhere. Really hope genuine survivors benefit from this.
