The Rape Counselling and Resource Centre Kilmarnock offers free and confidential support to anyone aged 13+ who has experienced sexual violence at any time in their lives. If this has happened to you, then you can contact our centre. We offer ongoing support, either face-to-face appointments or through our telephone helpline. When you contact us, our workers will:

• Listen to you
• Believe you
• Support you

We can also provide support to family members, friends, partners and workers to help them better understand how your experience of sexual violence has affected you.

We are committed to promoting equality and valuing the diversity of anyone who is a survivor of sexual violence, whether you are a woman, girl, man, boy or have another gender identity.

Our Support Services

Helpline

We offer phone support via our helpline 01563 541 769. Our helpline operates Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 9:30am – 5:30pm. Outwith these hours, or if a worker is unavailable, you can leave a message and someone will discreetly return your call as soon as possible (our number is always withheld). If you are calling between the hours of 6:00pm and midnight, you can contact the Rape Crisis Scotland National Helpline on 08088 01 03 02.

Face to face support

We offer face to face support, either as a single appointment or on an ongoing basis. Our face to face support usually takes place at our Kilmarnock premises, but if you would prefer another location this can be discussed with a worker. Our office hours are 9:30am – 5:30pm, and we will do our best to arrange an appointment time that is suitable to you.
