Do the above actions effectively change your mood ?
Has the size or frequency of risk taking increased over the past year or two ?
Has your gambling caused upset in your family or place of work ?
Do other people say that your gambling is a problem or out of control ?
Do you often find that you gamble or take risks which are bigger than you initially set out to take ?
Do you find that you are powerless to stop gambling or risk taking once you have started ?
Do you feel you ‘belong’ to the human race more when you are gambling or taking risks ?
Do you suffer emotional consequences after a gambling session such as guilt, shame, remorse, self loathing or a sense of hopelessness ?
Have you ever gambled in order to relieve these feelings ?
Have you ever tried to stop gambling or taking risks for any length of time ?
Have you ever considered ending your life because of your gambling or gambling debts ?
Do you continue to gamble even when the consequences of previous episodes are unresolved; e.g. increasing already high debts because of the belief that one more risk could solve your problems ?
