Self Confidence

We get a lot of emails from survivors who suffer from problems with self-confidence. Although occasionally we do receive some emails from people who profess to over compensate by being outwardly confident everyone seems to have the same lack of inward self confidence and a low self esteem.

Whether these issues are directly attributable to childhood abuse is difficult to say, but the over whelming evidence points to the fact that a lot of adult survivors of childhood abuse have problems in this area.

This section was written to help individuals deal with low self confidence and give them the tools they may need in everyday social situations.
