We get a lot of emails from survivors who suffer from problems with self-confidence. Although occasionally we do receive some emails from people who profess to over compensate by being outwardly confident everyone seems to have the same lack of inward self confidence and a low self esteem.
Whether these issues are directly attributable to childhood abuse is difficult to say, but the over whelming evidence points to the fact that a lot of adult survivors of childhood abuse have problems in this area.
