Member of the Year 2022

This award is given to the member, who in the eyes of the community, has delivered the most consistent level of support, friendship and advice in 2022.

I actually agree too. And worry that as many members went through emotional abuse which could include bullying and feeling left out, a vote like this could be hurtful to people.

I see your point of view but I also feel that this member of the year award gives us all a chance to think about who has meant the most to us as individuals. Surely it's a bit of fun too on a site that brings victims together. The world can feel like a very dark place at times so surely this just brings a little bit of light.

The member of the year award has helped me remember that I'm not entirely useless, and I'm proud to have the badge. It tells
me that there are human beings who value me. That isn't something I'm used to. I was over the moon when my name came up.
