Thanks for this Jamie.

The link in the blog to the research is broken.

Was it this paper?

I'm not religious, and would appreciate this being respected in any replies to my threads.

I was not abused by a family member.

Hi Jamie,

I too would like to see the research. The above link leads to a broken link as mentioned by Northern.

Hi Northern,
I doubt the link you have shared is what Jamie alluded to.
The link in your post is not to an article, and is not to research.
The link in your post is to a legal brief.
The legal brief is labelled "amicus curae" - friend of the court.

The legal brief was not written by a participant in a legal action - it may have been sent to a court to advocate for a case by attorneys who were not participating in the case but had an interest.

In any case, the linked legal brief is certainly not science and not scientific.
I read the legal brief as extremely weak legal advocacy.

Thanks Jamie.

Interesting read. I guess in light of my experience last year, my observation is the focus on this being a male only crime. Women are perfectly capable of this to.

I have a special interest in it, in that I suppose I’m extra vulnerable to it having a sleep disorder.
I'm not religious, and would appreciate this being respected in any replies to my threads.

I was not abused by a family member.
