LOOKING FOR PARTICIPANTS FOR PhD RESEARCH!

This is where you will find calling notices for volunteers, participants and helpers for different projects across the globe. HAVOCA always checks that ethical approval is in place before allowing research to be conducted here. HAVOCA always does its best to try and guarantee the ethical, moral and legal position of the researchers but ultimately it is down to the individual to make sure they feel safe volunteering and taking part in any specific requests. If in doubt ask.
To advertise in this section please contact the Trustee, you will need to provide an outline of the study, ethical approval from an authorised board and a contact number of a relevant supervisor.

• You have not experienced child sexual abuse yourself.
• You did not perpetrate the child sexual abuse your sibling experienced.
• You lived with the sibling who experienced child sexual abuse for a period of at least 5 years (either full or part time) during childhood.

UPDATED General Participant Poster 03.07.2025.pdf
This study is being conducted in partial fulfilment of a PhD at the University of Huddersfield. It is hoped that the findings from this study will aid in understanding the needs of siblings following on from a disclosure of child sexual abuse.

Should you wish to discuss the study further please feel free to contact the researcher (Philomena Kaye) via email: Philomena.Kaye@hud.ac.uk. This study will be live until December 2025. Thank you.
