Ritual Abuse Research- Participants Required

This is where you will find calling notices for volunteers, participants and helpers for different projects across the globe. HAVOCA always checks that ethical approval is in place before allowing research to be conducted here. HAVOCA always does its best to try and guarantee the ethical, moral and legal position of the researchers but ultimately it is down to the individual to make sure they feel safe volunteering and taking part in any specific requests. If in doubt ask.
To advertise in this section please contact the Trustee, you will need to provide an outline of the study, ethical approval from an authorised board and a contact number of a relevant supervisor.

Ritual Abuse Research- Participants Required

Post by Jamie »

Through my AP Research class I am conducting a study answering the question: To what extent have the effects of ritual abuse occurring during childhood impacted the career choices of 21st century adults in the United States?

Ritual abuse is defined as: repeated abuse including activities involving symbols and groups of people, carrying a religious, supernatural, or magical meaning.

In the field of ritual abuse, very little is known about the long-term effects it can have on aspirations, education, and careers. Additionally, there are very few perspectives from those who have experienced ritual abuse.

I am looking for participants that live in the United States, are currently adults, and experienced ritual abuse occurring during childhood. All participants will be interviewed answering 15 questions about the impact that ritual abuse has had on their life and career choices. This study will give individuals a platform to share their experiences to empower them to further understand the effects of ritual abuse on their lives and will spread awareness about the frequently occurring, yet marginalized topic of child ritual abuse.
